Sporting Lisbon green white hoops

Wales and Ireland sports shirts - green white hoops

Countries such as the Republic of Ireland, Wales, and Northern Ireland, have a deep celtic influence, and it is natural that many of its sports clubs wear the green and white celtic colours. This page shows sports shirts from Irish (Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland) and Welsh teams with either the green white hoops or stripes, or that are similar to the Stromp split shirt (one side green, one side white). There are many football clubs represented, but also other sports such as gaelic football or rugby.t.

There are many other Welsh, Irish, and Scottish clubs that wear the hoops that are not shown here, either because I have been unable to find one of their shirts (or good quality photos if someone is kind enough to send me), or because I never heard about them.

There are probably many more teams in Europe that wear the green white hoops! If you know any, let me know! But first check the English teams section, as well as the continental European teams section. And see the links above for American, African, Asian and Australian green white hooped kits!

You can also see, in their dedicated sections, some Sporting Lisbon old shirts, mostly match worn, as well as the new Sporting Lisbon shirt.
