The new Sporting CP shirt 2021/22: Nike has arrived
The Sporting Clube de Portugal 2021/22 Nike shirts are here! Sporting's new jersey for 2021/22 is made by Nike, and has the National Champion symbol.
The new Sporting CP shirt: home, Stromp and away
This page shows Sporting Clube de Portugal jerseys from the 2020s. Here we show home, Stromp, away and goalkeeper shirts, match kits (worn by players on the pitch, or team jerseys prepared for players who either stayed on the bench or were not called to play), and replica shirts (the normal equipment or shirts purchased for instance in the Sporting's Club shop). In particular, at the bottom we show the new Sporting Lisbon shirt. Macron was the official kit supplier in the first season of the decade, 2020/21, when Sporting won the national title. In 2021/22 Nike followed.
The last year with Macron: Champions in 2020/21!
In the last year of Macron's contract with Sporting, the brand decided, in partnership with the Club, to innovate in the home shirt. Their first shirt for Sporting had had a strange collar (and a very light green), in 2014/15. After that, Macron had made absolutely stunning traditional kits, in which the collar and the small details changed from season to season, while maintaining the classic model with practically no other alterations to the body of the shirt. This, unlike our previous brands Reebok and Puma, who had often changed the green, the width and composition of the hoops, and countless other details. In 2020/21, Macron went all-in and introduced a radically different model where the hoops are made from a pattern of sound: the heartbeat.
The Stromp jersey did not change. The away jersey was black, with a lion claw on the right shoulder, in green/white. There was a fourth jersey, white with the lyrics of Juve Leo's song "O Mundo Sabe Que" embossed.

2020/21. Fourth kit. Sporting said it's the 3rd, but the Stromp is always the second. This was used for the first time in the game against Lask of Austria, qualifying for the group stage of the Europa League, resulting in a 1-4 defeat in an Alvalade stripped of public due to the covid-19 pandemic. It has the lyrics of Juve Leo's song "O Mundo Sabe Que" inscribed in relief
The new Sporting CP shirt: Nike 2021/22
After seven years with Macron, Sporting signed a contract with Nike, one of the world's sports equipment giants alongside Adidas.
The main sponsor also changed: NOS left its place as main sponsor on the front of the jerseys, replaced by Betano, an online sports betting company.
